Scope and data controller
This policy explains how Africa Mining Business (“AMB Guinea”, “we”) processes personal data collected through ambguinea.com and its business communications. AMB Guinea, established in Conakry, determines the purposes described below. Last updated: 23 July 2026.
Data we may collect
Depending on your use of the services, we may collect identity, contact, company and role details; account and login data; IP address, device and security logs; enquiries and correspondence; verification or KYC documents where required; project, offer, order, payment, transaction, beneficiary and partner information; language, notification and cookie preferences.
Purposes and legal grounds
We use data to respond to enquiries, manage accounts, verify parties, assess opportunities, facilitate communications, fulfil requested orders or services, secure the site, prevent fraud, meet legal duties, retain necessary evidence and send requested communications. Processing may rely on your request or consent, performance of an agreement, legal duties or legitimate security and management interests.
Recipients and service providers
Authorised AMB personnel may access data. Where necessary, it may be shared with hosting, communications, payment, delivery, analysis, security or verification providers; partners involved in an operation with your agreement; and legally competent authorities. We do not sell personal data.
Transfers, retention and security
Some providers or partners may be outside Guinea. We seek appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards. Data is retained for the time needed to handle the request or relationship and meet accounting, tax, regulatory, evidential and security duties, then deleted or anonymised. We use organisational and technical safeguards, although no system is completely secure.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including Guinea’s rules on cybersecurity and personal-data protection, you may request access, correction, updating, objection or deletion and may withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. We may request proof of identity to protect your record.
Children and automated decisions
AMB’s website and commercial services are not intended for minors, and we do not knowingly seek their data. AMB does not make decisions producing legal effects solely through automated processing without appropriate human involvement.
